The majolica and ceramics categories in the LINDA HORN COLLECTION include all types of ceramic pottery including majolica, palissy, Chinese ceramics, English ceramics, French ceramics, and European ceramics. The majolica shown on the website is mainly English majolica from the 19th Century including Minton majolica, Wedgwood majolica, and George Jones majolica. From time to time there will also be on the site pieces from the 19th Century French majolica potters such as Massier, Choisy-le-roi, and Sarreguemines. The palissy on the website is 19th Century Portuguese palissy and at times will also include the French potters of Barbizet, Aviseau, and Longchamp. The ceramic pieces included in European and Asian pottery pieces from the turn of the century into the 20th Century.
